The Salt Duties Act

Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.

The Act has 3 sections, summarised below as the code requires.

  1. Passed by the Assembly by 35 votes to 10.
  2. Sets the duty at 3 pfen in the marka.
  3. Comes into force on 1 January 1901.
