The Sanitation Act
Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.
The Act has 3 sections, summarised below as the code requires.
- Passed by the Assembly by 36 votes to 27.
- Every town above 5000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act.
- Comes into force on 1 January 1884.
