The Police (Amendment) Act
Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.
The Act is arranged in 3 sections. Its provisions, as summarised by the Clerk of the Assembly for the code, are these.
- Passed by the Assembly by 47 votes to 14.
- Penalty on conviction: a fine of 65 marka or 16 months.
- Comes into force on 1 January 1881.
