The Dammberg Universities Act

Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.

The Act is arranged in 3 sections. Its provisions, as summarised by the Clerk of the Assembly for the code, are these.

  1. Passed by the Assembly by 42 votes to 18.
  2. Applies to children between 6 and 12.
  3. Comes into force on 1 January 1844.
