The Vaccination Act

Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.

The Act is arranged in 3 sections. Its provisions, as summarised by the Clerk of the Assembly for the code, are these.

1. Passed by the Assembly by 36 votes to 6.
2. Every town above 2000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act.
3. Comes into force on 1 January 1841.

The Act is cited by its short title. Copies are held at every office of the Ministry of Justice and at the town halls.
