The Hospitals Regulation Act

Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.

1. Passed by the Assembly by 56 votes to 1.
2. Every town above 5000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act.
3. Comes into force on 1 January 1838.
