The Hospitals Act
Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.
The Act is arranged in 3 sections. Its provisions, as summarised by the Clerk of the Assembly for the code, are these.
- Passed by the Assembly by 52 votes to 11.
- Every town above 500 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act.
- Comes into force on 1 January 1949.
