The Prisons Act

Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.

The Act has 3 sections, summarised below as the code requires.

  1. Passed by the Assembly by 38 votes to 22.
  2. Penalty on conviction: a fine of 463 marka or 18 months.
  3. Comes into force on 1 January 1926.
