An Act for the Better Provision of Teachers' Pay
Whereas it is expedient to make provision in the matter hereinafter set out: be it enacted by the Assembly as follows.
The Act has 3 sections, summarised below as the code requires.
- Passed by the Assembly by 35 votes to 8.
- Applies to children between 6 and 14.
- Comes into force on 1 January 1918.

- F2 In turn amended by The Teachers' Pay (Amendment) Act, 22 November 1974 (amending The Teachers' Pay (Amendment) Act). Passed by the Assembly by 42 votes to 18.
